Playmaker News Desk ยท Oct 10, 2026

Arsenal came from behind to beat Leeds 2-1 in a Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium. Leeds took the lead in the 55th minute when James Justin finished after Gudmundsson delivered a cross. Arsenal found an equalizer eight minutes later: Ben White supplied the delivery and Riccardo Calafiori turned the ball in from close range.

The home side completed the turnaround in the 70th minute. Declan Rice created the opening with a backheel and Bruno Guimaraes finished to put Arsenal ahead. Arsenal had earlier threatened through Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz, while David Raya made an important save from Gudmundsson before Leeds scored.

Leeds continued to compete after falling behind, but Arsenal held their lead through the closing stages. Saka had a late one-on-one chance to make the result safer but missed the target. The win gave Arsenal a positive start to their league return after the international break, while Leeds were left to reflect on a promising spell that did not produce a point.
